I've been designing web sites since the mid 1990s, when I first encountered the Web on a computer running a beta version of NCSA Mosaic. Through more than ten years of experience in web and graphic design, I have developed an appreciation for the subtlety and complexity of artful, usable web sites. It is my firm belief that a high-quality web site should be an integral part of any organization's communications and marketing strategy.
I provide a variety of web and graphic design services on a contract basis. Below is a small sampling of past projects, in no particular order. For more information about my services, including rates, availability, and specific capabilities, please contact me.
In addition to web design, I do some iPhone software development as part of a company called Little Green Men. I designed Queuetastic, an iPhone application that allows users to manage their Netflix accounts. I also developed and maintain the web site for Queuetastic.
I designed this site for a musical group I'm involved with, The 18th Street Singers. I also handle regular updates and maintenance. We were going for an active, vibrant, relatively young feel in keeping with the group's membership.
A professional web site I designed for New York-based actor Matthew Acocella.
The Washington Collegium is another choral group in DC that hired me to do their design and ongoing maintenance.
This is a site I designed for my college choir, the Georgetown University Chamber Singers. The group performs classical a cappella works in a number of settings, and the design mirrors the ensemble's traditional repertoire.
This poster, originally sized 11x17 inches, is one I designed in conjunction with CD art for The 18th Street Singers.
